Applying With a Housing Assistance Program
We welcome applicants who participate in housing assistance programs, including Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and similar programs. All applicants are considered in accordance with Fair Housing laws. Before applying, please call to verify that the specific unit you are interested in currently accepts your housing assistance program.
Program Requirements
- Applicants must have an active, approved voucher in hand at the time of application. Please verify with your Caseworker in advance that your voucher amount will cover the contract rent based on the property’s ZIP code.
- The voucher must be approved for the correct bedroom size and jurisdiction.
- All applicants must meet the property’s standard rental screening criteria. Participation in a housing assistance program does not waive or replace standard screening requirements.

Application Process Submit an Application
All adults (18+) must apply. Application fees are non-refundable.
Application Review
Applications are reviewed based on rental history, screening results, and program eligibility. Applicants are encouraged to review the property’s rental criteria prior to applying.
Security Deposit
The property will not be taken off the market until the full security deposit is paid. Voucher approval does not reserve or hold a unit. Units remain available to other applicants until the deposit is received in full.
Program Approval & Inspection
After the deposit is received, required paperwork is submitted and the unit is scheduled for inspection. Inspections must be scheduled within one week of the deposit being placed. Delays in scheduling inspections may impact move-in timelines.
Lease Signing & Move-In
Final approval is subject to passing inspection and housing authority authorization.
